Salvatore Sclafani, MD [Intravascular Ultrasound | CCSVI Symposium 2011 - 25 of 46]

It has been found that many people with MS have blocked internal jugular veins. Many also have a blocked azygos (chest) vein. The blockage of these critical veinsprevents adequate drainage of blood from the brain and spine.

This venous disorder is called Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency (CCSVI). A growing number of vascular specialists believe that CCSVI contributes to the symptoms of MS. Others believe it causes MS.

There is a long history of science which indicates that vascular abnormalities are associated with MS.

Other neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease, may also be associated with CCSVI.

''There is an abundance of evidence that MS is not primarily an autoimmune disease but is a disease where there is first damage to the blood-brain barrier as well as the oligodendrocyte-myelin unit; this damage then elicits an immune response in a subset of people that have an immune system predisposed to attacking myelin-associated antigens''

Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency (CCSVI) is a recently documented vascular condition that may profoundly change the way we think about MS and other neurological diseases.

Have a Neurovascular disease like Multiple Sclerosis These Doctors are hard at work creating an understanding of neurovascu;ar disease. Creating a proper understanding and clasification of many diseases and finally being  able to help people plagued with these diseases and improbing the quality of peoples lives

untangling CCSVI from MS

Making these adjustments could mean changing how your Life will unfold

The Neurovascular Hypothesis sounds like it may be good but difficult and expensive to implement on a grand Medical system level.

Vascular doctors already exist and they fit into medicine but should update their function - Hummanity has learned a great many things about the human blood system and it's relationship to the Immune system furthering a thesis that all things are interconnected. Vascular Medacine is already a functioning body in Medacine

IR (Interventional Radiology) is how the future of modern medacine should and will look like Medacine done through veins and contacting directly the ailment. With a minimal interuption to ones life and minimizzing recovery time. These people were remarkable with helping me and with my MS CCSVI.

Regret - I listened to my neurologist and that was a big mistake I missed out on some great moments suffered great and unnecessary pains that I could have avoided.

Renewal - CCSVI Venoplasty changed so many things for me and I am grateful I did it I just wish I did it sooner. I didn't do it sooner because I listened to my neurologist and followed the autoimmune theory for a very long time and in that time I went from being a very functional and dangerous Martial Artist to being a Quadriplegic and almost totally not functional. As a martial artist I wanted to bring full mastery of my Body.

What I would have done differently - I would have done CCSVI Venoplasty sooner in the coarse of my disease, Learned to late that the Factor of Time does not favor me.

The MS CCSVI process as I see it - Like being held under Water you can't breath and so you die - The same goes for your cells if they are deprived of Blood for a long time they can't do their thing called cellular respiration

Some changes that should be made 1 - Make Interventional Radiologists a greater part of the medical World

Some changes that should be made2 - Don't allow Neurologists to practice medacine at this time a doctors degree at this point will suffice . Being a Scientist is enough they just won't be able to experiment and create victims like myself with Multiple Sclerosis

Does it matter what came first for the ILL? - Cellular respiration or Cellular toxicity - What does it matter to the ill person who has because of it lost so much capability

Factors that I think played a part - epigenetics, Prolonged Stress, Trauma, Blood and veins, Cellular death and degeneration

I think of Multiple Sclerosis as a disease with at least one other disease in it that second found disease being Vascular and called CCSVI (Chronic Cerebral Spinal Venous Insufficiency)

CCSVI Venoplasty gave me some relief from some of my Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms and for that I am grateful

Some thoughts on Intervenous Radiology on Wikipedia ???

Some thoughts on CCSVI on Wikipedia ???

Some thoughts on MS (Multiple Sclerosis) on Wikipedia - ???

Multiple Sclerosis - The good and the bad - My experience with having this poorly understood disease

  • The BAD -The neurological approach was very bad for me - The Progression of the disease kept going - I experienced no relief from my symptoms - I missed alot of critical moments in my life, I especialy regret lost time with my wifes family - The nature of my own relationships with my own family, freinds and the relationship with the world had to regretably change, I lost the Quality of my Life.

  • The Good and my experience - (CCSVI) Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency , I experienced an improvement in the Quality of my Life and the reduction of many symptoms - I also realized that this is a degenerative disease and many Characteristics in being a person would never come back because they are dead now which is why the drug approach is primarily for RRMS and neurologists made it very difficult to impossible to do CCSVI Venoplasty if we were diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis by a Neurologist we have somehow become their property - they just forgot to stamp us like cattle claiming that are their property and we don't have the right to do CCSVI Venoplasty because a neurologist diagnosed us first with Multiple Sclerosis - How anti democratic is that - Neurologist just took away are Human Rights.

How I resolved the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Quagmeyer

I decided to think of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) as a disease which contains another disease thats responsible for many symptoms (CCSVI) Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency

What did I do I left my Country Canada and went to the USA and did CCSVI Venoplasty their and we rever Freedom here. Go to the USA and find out what freedom is all about. Shame on you Canada.

How I found help? My help came from the USA and I am one of those people that had to travel to do CCSVI Venoplasty because shamefully it was illegal here in Canada. Something the federal government of the time decided, a conservative government. An unknown extra effort put out at the time by the conservatives even though health issues are a Provincial matter in Canada. An unfortunate reality of the tome for Canadians such as myself. Don't surprise your GP Doctor discuss it with him or her and have them on board with your effort.

Restore the Balance - Lifestyle adjustments

  • Water - Drinking Water and staying hydrated is very important
  • Diet - It is often said you are what you eat and you should watch what youre eating
  • Exercise - doing exercise is important and fun for me it was fun
  • Stress Reduction - probably a key ingredient to why were sick and difficult to control because it often means controlling others or the environment which we can't control and it's probably best that we don't try to control it
  • Meditation - Meditation is a wonderful thing to practice and so advatageous to good health and life
  • Work - This is how we do are part to contribute to others and in the process make ourselves happy and give us a very important ingreedient to living a good life in this world were in
  • Balance - Now if you can do all of these thigs and be satisfied you are balanced
  • Lifestyle - The process of living a balanced life and being happy is a good lifestyle. that requires checking yout lifestyle and making necessary and doable changes to it

Acute interventions - I feel CCSVI Venoplasty was most important to the improvement in the Quality of my life with MS CCSVI - my only regret is I didn't do it earlier in the coarse of my disease I would have done it when my EDSS was below 2 but thanks to neurology it was probably above 7 CCSVI Venoplasty the sooner the better

  • CCSVI Venoplasty sometimes spoken as CCSVI Angioplasty but what is being interveened with for correction in many neurological diseases are veins. Multiple Sclerosis is I believe a venous problem

  • Whats the difference? well one is about Veins (CCSVI Venoplasty) and one is about arteries (CCSVI Angioplasty)

My Medical specialists are now not neurologists but vascular specialists regarding Multiple Sclerosis. The childrens rhyme keeps playing in my head 'fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me', I won't let them fool me any more. Now the word Neurology makes me want to throw up - I guess they will try to make that a neurological illness also

Now my speialists regarding Multiple Sclerosis are vascular doctors, I don't see neurologists about anything regarding health care

My liberation was provided by an IR (Interventional Radiologist)

IR (Interventional Radiologist) doctors can be located by the Society of Interventional Radiologists or if your Canadian through your general practitioner AKA family physician.

  • MS (Multiple Sclerosis) is one disease and CCSVI (Chronic Cerebral Spinal Venous Insufficiency) is another disease
  • A Vascular abnormality leads to Multiple Sclerosis and probably various Other Neurodegenerative Diseases
  • CCSVI (Chronic Cerebral Venous Insuficiency) causes MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and probably various other neuro degenerative disease

The autoimmune theory of Multiple Sclerosis did extreme damage and destruction to my life. It is also hasn't been proven

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS- A LOVE STORY

This gentelman managed his life well with MS CCSVI thanks to the good and ambitious work of his Wife

Thanks to her he is a person who's life wasn't stopped in its tracks by a neurological diagnosis of MS

Joan managed to save the Quality of her Husbands life from a tragic diagnosis of MS by a neurologist. By moving towards the CCSVI premise  - MS CCSVI 2 diseases that have a corelation - the earlier the better - Fortunately she really understood this disease truly and She made all the right moves - He's lucky

    Discovering the Truth

    • I treat Multiple Sclerosis as a Vascular Disease because that gives me the most reward while the autoimmune neurological approach realy hurt me

What came first the chicken or the egg

I believe CCSVI leeds to Multiple Sclerosis

Factors that lead to Multiple Sclerosis

Epigenetics - Not that Multiple Sclerosis is genetic but it does occur through living a life of stress and trauma that ultimately changes your genetic makeup

CCSVI - This in connection with a damaged anatomy leeds to Multiple Sclerosis knowingthis we should consider Multiple Sclerosis a blood disease

Why gowing disability in people with Multiple Sclerosis - Cellular Respiration -

ccsvi Cellular Respiration Veins, Iron, BBB Blood Brain Barrier

Probably one of the least talked about factors why we those of us with Multiple Sclerosis grow to become disabled through the damage and eventual death of cells. A comperative study of certain human nerve cells and plants.

Well from the experience of having Multiple Sclerosis and growing plants we humans are resilient and forgiving. If we don't make things exactly right for plants they quickly die. Their environment has to be right for plants or they don't last long.

What I feel thr pieces to the puzzle are about this disease - Multiple Sclerosis and other neuro degenerative diseases

    Epigenetic -

    Vascular -

    Stress & Trauma -

    Problems with discovering the Truth

My approach to my illness (Multiple Sclerosis)

Not following the neurologists and their autoimmune model and not seeing neurologists anymore as part of my medical/Health team

Have seperated health and medicine into 2 parts acute and chronic

Neurologists have been removed in my life and replaced with vascular doctors neurologists are no longer part of my health care team

This is how I see and wish to fabricate the sohomojo.biz website. What happens when you move into another website is dependant on the creator of that website.

Why am I making this website?

The inspiration is my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and the destruction it did to me following the neurodegenerative model harbored by neurologists and the hope restored to me through CCSVI Venoplasty and lifestyle changes

No more autoimmune theory for me to bad it did so much damage to me before I stopped following it but that was the approach that neurologists took and so silly of me I thought they were acting in my best interest.

It didn't have to but it did because of the passing of Time by neurologists and by there totally unreasonable diagnostic techniques.
